Firmness of greens seems to be Mother Nature’s #1 way to interfere with play.

 On Monday Oakmont scored much more difficultly than Longue Vue. Today after days of rain the approaches to greens are much easier.


 Even the great staff at Oakmont can’t control Mother Nature.
