I am confused by the timing of these events.  Is the most recent decision to keep the two El Conquistador courses open?


Funny that Vistoso is the one that is closed.  I thought that was clearly the best course of the three.

Virginia Beach, VA is tinkering with the idea of re-purposing Bow Creek Muni as a flood water storage pond.  Tidewater VA has a big big flood problem.
No big loss to Golf, but a loss for youngsters from families of modest means who might develop an interest in the game.

I agree that Vistoso is/was a better course.


All courses are open at El Con with help from the city, the members and the HOA.
