Again, thanks for taking the time to respond. I have an opinion on the ball going too far being an issue but I am open to understanding why it isn't a problem and that's really why I was interested in your view. I am curious as to whether you see the distance the ball goes as being a non issue or a positive. On a site like GCA there is a predisposition to wanting the ball rolled back because it would mean that classic courses remain relevant. A dissenting opinion is pretty rare, hence why I'd like to understand what the positives for the game as a whole are of the ball going further.
