Cabin fever cure, 2017 version: Saturday Feb 18 at Greate Bay (NJ) [Pics added]

Archie Struthers has graciously allowed a gathering at his club this Saturday.  Tee off roughly around 11 AM.  Cost very reasonable.

Greate Bay is a neat old Willie Park Jr design with some later work by the Fazios and others.

Participants currently include me, Jaeger Kovich, and Mike Trenham.

Current weather forecast quite decent for February in our neck of the woods:  sunny and clear and high 50s predicted.

Been battling something all week but 60 degrees in Feb is good reason to soldier on.

 A very nice day was had at Greate Bay by the four of us, with some great conversation afterwards with Archie.

Mike,


I took my mission of filling in for you so seriously that i drove there Sat morning with a 100 degree fever, an upper respiratory infection, then walked 18 holes finally tiring and driving OB on 18 to take a triple for an 82 and then sat with Archie through 3 Double IPAs before driving home 2.5 hours to 2 rambunctious grandkids wanting grandpa's attention.


You owe me big time! ;)

It is always a pleasure to visit you and your club and I was fortunate to be able to play Saturday.  Thanks again for the opportunity.  Of course I type this now from the emergicenter as things have not improved healthwise.
