British Masters golf courses?
« on: October 20, 2015, 06:25:30 AM »
Does anyone know where the British Masters will be held in future years. Obviously Ian Poulter has just hosted it at Woburn, his home course. Luke Donald is hosting it next year at the Grove, which is apparently in his "home county", even though I thought he was from Buckinghamshire? Where would Rose and Westwood host it? Is Notts Golf Club in line for a tour event? Where in Hampshire could host a tour event? Or would they just go to the Belfry and Queenwood, for example, and follow the money?

I would hazard a guess at Close House for Westwood

Worksop is Westwood's real home course but Notts or Lindrick are both close by and certainly good enough. I suspect though Ben is on the money with Close House.

Rose has an affiliation with Goodwood but I would imagine London Club ticking a few boxes

Russell Knox could bring it to Castle Stuart, Nairn or Dornoch.

Goodwood would be great as Rose is touring pro for them but I think it's just not long enough for all of the new breed of flat belly pro's. :)
