We've been going to the Cashiers area in the summer for 15 years and never heard of it.  Is it a separate membership than WH?

+1 for Bandon Preserve, and Shorty's at Bandon.  Both great fun.

I'll tell you what though, don't sleep on Canal Shores (formerly known at Peter Jans and/or Jans National).  It is a special spot and there is a rapidly developing movement in the community to transform it into something truly unique in the game.

Headwaters is a separate club with a membership of about 25 I believe.  It was originally designed as a practice facility for Wade Hampton but apparently Wade Hampton didn't want to purchase it.  So it became it's own club.  9 holes designed by Fazio.  Most members also belong to Wade Hampton.  Big waiting list I hear.

Had a lot of fun playing Threetops on a buddy trip - aced the 9th.  The best short course I've seen is the fairly new 9 hole par 3 course at Whispering Pines.

The short course at World Woods is a blast. Not all par 3's, some short 4's also.
