On Wednesday evening Mr Michael Clayton was inducted into the Victorian Golf Hall of Fame for his amazing contribution to golf in this state over many years.

Given all that Mike has contributed to this site and golf-course architecture in general, I'm not sure the "OT" qualifier is warranted.

Congratulations, Mike! Very well deserved.

Thank-you all. It was a nice honour. They are many well-deserving people in it but none close to Peter Thomson who is the absolute legend of Victorian golf.

Congrats Mike.

I grew up reading Thomson in The Age despite knowing little of his pedigree and Golf being at least 4th or 5th on the list of sporting interests. I now enjoy reading and listening to your thoughts. It must be nice to at least to sit at the same table as a giant of the game on merit.
