Guess the course

  Just converted a few images from 1989 to digital the other day, and was amazed how much this place has changed.

Yes, the course looks a bit better today. :)
Firmer turf, "fewer" trees, yada yada and those horrendous bunkers which were placed in the 1960s have been eliminated and restored in the original style.
THE most underrated golf course in America.

RMD, I'm not clear on whether the two photos are taken in same year or timeframe of 1989, or are they showing the change in styling of bunker construction and placement via a remodel project ocurring years apart?  The two photos don't even look like the same course or same architect designer, nor era.

The photos were taken on the same day, but  because it was mid-day and my photography skills were 18 handicap level, the negatives did not always convert to digital well.  I made my first hole in one there on the 14th and those pictures resulted in a bunch of complete blurrs.  Thought this might be a tough guess after the comprehensive restoration work.
