T1 Bentgrass-any experience in the US South?
« on: August 08, 2014, 05:29:29 PM »
Would appreciate any thoughts on this new strain versus an A1-A4 mix or the new bermuda strains...  Central NC location.  Thanks!

T-1 Bentgrass, according to the manufacturer is:
-Aggressive against Poa annua, tenacious ground cover.
 -Excellent disease resistance.
-The #1 darkest green bentgrass variety in the world

The little bit I know, is that its a little more heat tolerate and little more cold tolerant

We used it on a course in Amarillo, Texas a few years ago and it has done very well.
