How far do you live from your home club?

I'm about 3 miles from my home club (Southern Pines).

Pine Needles and Mid Pines are about 3/4 of a mile from my house.

In general, I think the 5 mile drive over to Pinehurst is about all the commuting I could endure. Sometimes, however, I have been known to play the odd round or two 10 or 15 minutes away for variety.

Well, I live about 900 miles from my spiritual home course in Gothenburg, NE.  It is only about a 13-14 hour commute.  I already bought a lot out behind #2 green - 3 tee.  I keep telling the wife that what I'd save on club membership (about $500 a year) would be worth it to move out there and build a house.  Literally, what it would cost to join a prestigious east or west coast club would be about what the house would cost to build, and the quarterly or monthly minumum would be less than the year membership at WH.  

Otherwise, I settle for our local Brown County Golf Course which is clear on the other side of town, about 10 minutes drive.  It is $1100 yearly unlimitted play member pass or $26 a round.

Seven minutes from home, ten minutes from the office.
But still don't practice anywhere near enough!

The course I play most often and keep my index at is less than 5 min from home, less than 10 from the office.

Oh to live in a place where traffic is virtually non-existant!!!

Then again we do suffer froma small problem called lake -effect snow!
