Good article.  It would be nice to have a CB or Raynor course in the area, but can't really complain about the amount of quality courses.

Nice article. I really like Bamberger's golf epistles.

The $2 nassau reminded me of a story I heard regaled to me at the bar in the Union League Club on NYC one night,

Mr. Pew had a management meeting in Philadelphia for the Sun Oil Company and after the meeting they all went out to Merion Golf Club for a round. As they were about to tee off Mr. Pew opined that they should have a $2 nassau match for fun. A Texan in his for foursome snorted and said "$2, hell we play for $20 a hole at my club with $5 junk"". After golf they had dinner and were playing bridge and Mr. Pew suggested that they play for a penny a point. The Texan exploded with laughter and said that he was accustomed to playing $.50 per point.

Mr. Pew took the Texan aside and said to him "I think that you have an excellent job with us at Sunoco and am sure that we are paying you quite well". The Texan replied that, yes, he was quite well recompensed by the Sunoco Oil Company.

My. Pew said, "Well, what do you say we flip a coin for it"?
