http://www.9and10news.com/story/22673599/two-golfers-walk-100-holes-of-golf-for-charity

Link is to the story by Northern Michigan's 9 & 10 News on Howard Reifs' and Chris Hufnagle's walk yesterday.  It was considerably warmer at Kingsley this year than last year.  It should also be noted that Tim Bert began the day caddying for Chris, and no matter how hard we tried, we couldn't get him off the bag.  He caddied the full 126 for Chris.  Howard had help from the staff in his hike as well.

Inspring stuff.  If only I weren't old and fat with bad knees and a crap swing!  I still hope to help out Monday at Kingsley in whatever feeble way possible.

Jud, it was great to play a little golf with you this weekend, have you encouraging us all day yesterday, talk T. Stewart clubs, and a few nice meals together - your support along that of Bill's and the entire club made this HHH very special...thanks.

A treatise on my Hundred Hole Hike. Writing it was almost as exhausting as the actual day.

The glow ball is a good idea.  I need to find one of those.

I was noodling around the Links Trust website while planning a St Andrews trip for next May, and clicked the "results of the ballot" link for July 4th.

There it was, 6:20 a.m., J. Colton and T. Doak!   Good luck guys!

I have a feeling that was not from a random drawing.

It was not random given that the first time on the Old is currently 6:30 AM.  I just happen to be in St. Andrews myself on vacation and joined the group - caddying for Jim - for the first nine holes, which they completed in 59 minutes.  They had already played the nine-hole Balgove Course and were on to the Eden after completing the Old at around 8:20 AM.  Amazing that there were quite a few pars and bogeys - and even a few birdies - while the group played a slowed-down version of speed golf.
