Golf course land going cheap

Golf Course to Farmland: another piece from country media in Australia - but this is story about a farmer in Biggsville, USA buying the neighbouring golf course to turn into a cornfield - the opposite of "build it and they will come"!!!
The previous story was of how Barnbougle farmer and landowner turned a poor piece of ground on his farm into a golf course - this one is the opposite.

Glad to see this happening. If the golf course can't sustain itself, better the land be repurposed to provide a worthy service to the community/region. in this case, food security.
