I wasn't able to see much of the golf today but it did appear to me that the wind was making the course extremely difficult and only a few players were able to shoot under par rounds.  Is the next step to install fans all around courses - just kidding.  But what about trying to make the courses play similarly to windy conditions by allowing them to really firm up which is done at some events including the US Open.  Or do the fans want to see low scores and do the players expect to shoot low scores?
