5 years and 46k pics should be enough to retire that camera. Too many improvements have been made, especially mirrorless, to not consider a new device.

Unfortunately these 'improvements' have come with a high price tag.  And this Sony RX100 seems popular enough early on that nobody is really budging off of the MSRP (650 bucks).

$650 is not bad considering the initial reviews. The NEX 5N is a stellar offering and you can change lenses.

If you are looking for a mirror-less, this is about a good a deal as you will see...

Here are a couple of more photos from my weekend at Ballyneal – it was a great time and thanks again to Jim Colton for hosting me...

I do not profess to be a great landscape photographer and the light was not the best when I was shooting, but still some good images of an extraordinary place.  These were all taken with the RX100.

#3 - a fun short hole which we played from 80 yards up to 160 yards over the course of the weekend...

#8 - probably my favorite hole at the course and in my all-time top ten...

No tee markers at Ballyneal, but we had some matches between the groups - so the first group of the day marked where they went from...

Another one of the great green complexes - I loved the fescue and the transitions from fairways to greens...
