That must be a particularly annoyingly accurate summation of the game for a member of Paraparaumu to have to stomach after your recent 'stretching' excercise.

Paraparaumu would have been far better served to shortening par than lengthening Russell's charming design.

Mark,

When I look at your plan picture, I start to wonder about the safety on the 17th green.  From what I can see players can get hit from the new 18th tee and the new 12th tee.  Maybe it is deceiving but that is the way it looks to me...

Have you got anymore pictures as I am really interested in what actually went on after our e-mail discussions earlier in the year.

If you have can you send them to my e-mail address listed.

Thanks

Brian.

Bunkers, if they be good bunkers, and bunkers of strong character, refuse to be disregarded, and insist on asserting themselves; they do not mind being avoided, but they decline to be ignored - John Low Concerning Golf

I'm finding it difficult to imagine the tee shot from over there but curious comes to mind and so does ridiculous but I will have to wait.

Might they reverse these changes after Tiger leaves, especially if they are not well received?

Does anyone know what golf course was Hunter referring to at the end? Maybe Claremont in the East Bay, I don't remember if it has 6 par-3s?

One or two courses like Pacific Dunes are probably going to surpass Para every two years. What they are doing in an effort to keep up will only hasten their demise.
