Tom - I read enough to know you eagerly anticipating our esteemed colleague Mr. Huntley's position to be posted - knowing full well in advance what that position was. As I also noted I can efficiently scroll through all this on my bberry but to paraphrase you chimed in with agreement I believe.
I just picked you as the easy target. Just having some fun my man. It was all I could do to refrain from bringing pacific dunes into the conversation. Oops I have done it now.
Fair enough. I too was just having fun with Jordan, and Mr. Huntley. But let's get very clear that I sure as hell do not find Cypress to be anything less than a very fine test... I have had that battle many times before with many in here who have said it's "too easy". I continue to wonder "too easy for whom?" as it's sure as heck not too easy for anyone I have played with... or heard about...
What was funny to me - and what I really did chime in about - was that Bob compared Jordan's Cypress experience to a first kiss, I said let's discuss it again when the honeymoon is over, right before that. Just two different extremes, wouldn't you say?
As for Pacific Dunes... it's another great course.. another one I'd say is in the same league with these two. So what's the problem?
Dave - good stuff my friend... oh yes you read me correctly, that's just what I meant. 11-14 can be tough, but also can be had... and the latter part is a large part of what makes the stretch so great.
