There were some that couldn't stay until the very end of the KP, so I wanted to make a few remarks. To those that have already heard them, I apologize for my repeating myself.
I wanted to thank everyone for the kind words about Robert and I's efforts for this event. It was quite an experience organizing something like this and alot of work, but worth the effort. Robert went above and beyond the call of duty, particulary in regards to the creation of the website. It was totally his idea and he did a great job. In addition, his organizing of the scoring format was top notch. He had that running like a well oiled machine. And the choice of Holdrens for Sat night was a homerun. Great food, as I'm sure we would all agree. Well done, pards.
Also, I wanted to thank Tom for his advice for the event and his tremendous presentation of Ojai Valley Inn. It is a setting near and dear to his heart and I've learned alot from him in regards to the history of that great place. Well done Tom. You are and will always be the Emperor!
In addition, I want to thank Joe Perches for his very gracious gesture in providing the GCA hats to the attendees. They are very well done, Joe. Thank you again!
Congrats to Lou for the events most memorable shot. However, I can't say it surprises me. Great shot, Lou! I wish I could've seen it!
And last but certainly not least, I wanted to thank Mr Peter Wagner for providing his wonderful club for our use. The facilities were unbelievable, the staff fantastic, the food wonderful and the course was in great condition. Peter, you are a prince among men and I wanted to thank you and George (NOW I remember his name
) for your hospitality in allowing this nutty crew to come to a very special place that you call home.
No Cal, the ball is firmly in your court and I'm sure you will carry on the tradition with great success. I look forward to attending next year!
