Hartford Golf April 1-5
« on: March 08, 2009, 09:03:26 AM »
And the Golf Gods continue to smile down on me...the Charlotte trip is being extended backward to Hartford area, as daughter # 1 wants to visit some colleges in the region.  If any GCA'ers want to meet up for a round, let me know.  My bro-in-law and sis-in-law live there and we've been golfing them fairways for some fifteen years now.  I'm always up for someplace old or someplace yet-to-slice.

Hello Ron,

This is Ron...no news yet about potential golf in Hartford, CT region in about three weeks?  Shame.  Perhaps this thread was overlooked.  Well, let's give it one more go, shall we?

GCA brethren, if anyone is up for a game in the Hartford, CT region from April 1st-3rd, send me a private message or, if not available, make a public suggestion for a course or two that I might try.  Thanks.

Try  Keney Park  or Wintonbury Hills.   South of town  Timberlin,  by Zikorus ,  may be worth   looking into

There may well still be snow, nowhere will be in decent shape,  but if that doesn't dissuade you,  PM me. We can figure out some mud ball. I'm 40 minutes N of Hartford.

I'd be happy to join anyone in the Hartford area then, except perhaps for April 2. The weather could be very shaky, you never know. Wintonbury Hills will be nominally open. Just be advised they have a special rate for all course raters (including myself) -- full fare.
