Intimidation or Enticement?
« on: November 29, 2008, 04:28:02 AM »
Both are important tools used by GCAs to influence the golfer. Which do you think is the most effective at influencing  player long term and which do you prefer?

For the record I prefer enticement over intimidation although the latter should also be present on every course. I also feel that enticement has a longer working effect than intimidation. With experience I tend to avoid those intimidating problems which I know I can and I stick to my game plan. Enticement however, often leads to a last minute change of plan even though I might feel unsure about it some how it still challenges me.
