FWIW
One of my students who just missed stage 2
"stock" numbers
8 iron 165  carry
6 iron 189
4 iron 210
3 wood 15 deg   258+ carry
Kid is about 5'9" 
Probably in top 20% in distance, but there were a few who BOMBED" it by him
I caddied for him (not well obviously :-\) and these are his stock yardages

So I looked at the top 10 drives from the year. What is it about the 11th hole at LaCantera where they play the Texas Open? It had 6 of the top 10 longest drives. Is does the hole play big time down hill, downwind? Whats the deal with that one? Seems like I might be able to launch one 380+ on that one.

The driving distance stat that was in the Tour's release was:

I am most intrigued by the average height number--121 feet is about the height of the proverbial 10-story building. And his average carry is 298.6.

Given that it's Shotlink, it might be limited to the times he actually used driver.

They keep an astonishing number of stats.

I would really like to get access to the database that they give to TV announcers. Azinger used to dig up all sorts of good info.

I think there's some even more interesting information to be gleaned, bu the folks who do get access never seem to be interested in the stuff I am.

Depends on the hole!! ;)  Driver consistency a little bit of a problem  haha
would say stock/solid  about 290.  Par five speed, or post f*** up speed, around 305 
Has that darned extra gear
