I went to the HIO this year to take the twisting motion out of the task and my sacrum.  I always have preferred taking the plug in one piece to preserve the full root length in the plug.  I eschew emotional attachment to tools.  I try to save my affections for those who can return them, my wife, my dog, my turf...

Meh. This is more like a wedding ring for my career.

Have you noticed a difference in turf health between the full plug and the half plug?

What kind of hole cutter was Carl Spackler using as he was, ummm, observing the foursome of women?

I'm thinking they must not use a "Par-Aide" at the course I play because my pars are few and far between !
