Vista Verde Update (Season Passes...)
« on: October 07, 2008, 01:15:43 AM »
Just wanted to give one & all the most recent Vista Verde update in N. Scottsdale, AZ. The design has been discussed at length, and most agree that it is one of the stronger plays in the Valley... So here's what they have in store for '08-90...

$2500 gets you 50 rounds at Vista Verde, limited to a total of 200 "memberships." That's $50 per round, good for the next 15 months. Something to think about for those in the know as the the average "seasonal" rate for Scottsdale is around $200+ i.e. absurd, insane, what you will...  ;)

This "membership" includes guest fees as well so a group can purchase one membership. Great deal but no amenities although there will be a new temporary clubhouse.

Tony:

You are 10000% correct -- when one sizes up the golf alternatives in the Valley of the Sun that are indeed well worth playing -- Vista Verde ranks among the very best of the best for people of means to consider.

Yes, the amenities aren't exactly in place -- and the reality is that such a membership plan is being offered for a time because of likely issues tied to the housing promotion for the property.

Ken Kavanaugh did a stellar job there and it's well worth seeking out for any person visiting the greater Valley of the Sun area.
