Big problem in my opinion - if either Tiger or Stricker win this week, then you've only got 3 guys that can win the Cup next week.  27 guys playing to win a tournament, so someone else celebrates a $10 million payday.  I think the final event really needs to be match play if the playoffs are going to mean something.

Snedeker has had and amazing rookie season, entered the playoffs in the top 10 (granted he hasn't done anything too impressive the past two weeks) he could finish in the top ten this week, be in the top 10 next week and still have no shot to win the Cup even if he wins the tournament.  What's the point?

Oh, by the way, two of the three guys out of the whole field that have a chance are the ones that skipped an event.

Right now, it may only need 2 adjustments:

FIRST: Should have started one week later, so that there would have been two weeks off between Firestone and Westchester; then there should have been a week off either before or after Cog Hill.

SECOND:  When re-setting the standings right before Westchester, everyone should have received only 1/4 of the points they did receive.  (So Tiger would have begun with only 25,000 points.)  Then each the four "play-off" events would have a more significant effect on determining the final standings, and skipping even one event would be more significant of a negative hit.

ALSO: Change name to "The FedEx Sweepstakes", since this is not a real play-off.
