Not really quite as cool as I thought it was at first. It will zoom into a VERY limited few courses. You can scroll around all over the map, but it cannot show satellite images of and details wherever else you move.

Good for what limited few sites it has.

Unfortunately, quite a few of the courses are wrong. e.g. In Sydney, the course marked Kellyville Country Club is actually Castle Hill CC., but nonetheless, a reasonable resource.

It also has an unusual selection, listing no sandbelt courses in Melbourne or NSW Golf Course in Sydney.

Thanks, it is book marked. For those who decry the lack of specific courses, at the bottom of the home page there is a place to submit new entries by including a link to the club's home page.
From the list of latest entries, it is up us viewers.

   You can even submit photos.

Something very cool . . . click on Fox Hill in New York and scroll East a couple of clicks and you'll see an aerial of Friar's Head mid-construction.  It appears that most of the clearing on the upper part of the course was done at that point in time.

Very cool to see.

Very Cool!

I spend so much time searching for courses on google earth so I guess someone was bound to make a website like this eventually.

The only problem is that this website has taken the fun out of the search!

For those who would like a similar map just for Western PA, check out:

http://www.wpga.org/membership/wpga_course_map.html

It only has courses which are members of the Western PA Golf Association, but still that is over 100 courses.

Y'all probably already know this, but if you go into Google Earth and expand the "Layers" section on the left, scroll down and expand the "Parks and Recreation Areas" layer, inside that layer you can check "Golf," and anywhere you look on Google Earth the golf courses will have a green outline around them for easy location. As with the website mentioned above, not all are designated, but.........
