I had a glance at Europe on Google Earth.  Very little of France is in high resolution, so no Morfontaine, no Pau, no Hardelot, no Le Touquet etc.  I found many postal addresses totally misleading.  Where that is the case I've given geographical co-ordinates which seem to please Google.  Google Earth often led me up the garden path in the Netherlands, so there are many co-ordinates here.  Netherlands is well fixed for resolution, so I've included as many old or older layouts as I could find. I was pleased to find Domburgsche - a links I did not know about.

Over the years you have contributed a lot of data about courses in various regions. Would you mind consolidating all that in one place? Don't rush it, I only need it in a week or so

Seriously, for someone, who may go to France or the Netherlands in a couple of years, it will be nigh impossible to find this thread. I remember another long listing of Southern England's best courses and undoubtedly there is more that I missed.

Did you know you have to get a license to play golf in the Netherlands?  You cant leave the executive courses until you can play 3 holes in (I forget) six or seven over...

Jay, But they have men's handicaps up to 48 and ladies' to 60.  I remember once playing at Rungsted in Denmark on my own, cathing up some locals and joining them from about the 6th.  They were all handicaps over 30, even worse than me (and that's saying a lot), but when we caught another group on the 16th my new friends complained that one of them didn't have a handicap.

Jay, you don't need to bother whether it is in Dutch or Swahili - just Copy and Paste.  That's why I've used so many grid references to locate places properly.

Ulrich, The Web Browser's Guide is now hopelessly out of date - one of the links apparently now sends you to a porn site!  I'd love to make all this material available, but I don't yet have sufficient web capacity to store the material myself.  I'm talking with the chap who set up my music web site to do one also for golf.  It is asking a lot of Ran's bandwidth to store all this material.

I have to say that, worthy though my efforts in aerials may be, they haven't attracted much feedback or many hits.  England 1 and Mediterranean Europe received no responses and are already on the 3rd page of posts.  I am happy to do them, but not if they are waste of time and of ran's bandwidth.

Mark, I'm sorry to disappoint you about the porn web site.  It was Jason Macnamara who found it - contact him!  As to the linksland, there's lots of it.  I hope to show you some from Belgium in due course, but I think you have all I know of in Holland here.  I am always happy to be informed of errors or omissions.  Try dialling in these parameters into Google Earth:
