Westmoreland is a very nice club and course. The three 9s are all good, but the Red and White are the best in my opinion. The Red nine is the flattest and has the most water on it. The White has some of the more interesting holes, including two pretty good par 3s, one short and fairly flat and one tough uphill one. The Blue is now really only 8 holes by Wilson/Finger and one new hole that was built last year. The club had one par 3 that was across the street from the rest of the club. They got a good offer on the land and sold it. They then built a new hole to replace the one sold. This also caused them to shorten one par 4 in order to fit the new hole in.
The club has a pretty small membership and is always in good shape. We have used it for the West Penn Amateur and West Penn Open as well as other events over the last few years.
I've enjoyed playing it and it does hold up well when the best players in the area play it.
