You're just talking to the rare married guy who did in fact USED TO practice a lot. You've seen my rather unique swing - I have so many moving parts, it requires being quite in timing for such to be used to good effect. And before the kids got in sports and more involved in school activities, well... damn near every afternoon could be used for golf practice, and often was. Thus I could play well, as Mike saw at Sand Hills a few years ago.
Since then? No practice does mean the many parts get all out of whack.
In any case, dammit how did this great subject revert to my pathetic game?
My point does remain that average joes don't see all that much effect in making the game too easy. I'm not budging from that, and it is becoming more and more apparent the more and more average I become.
