Well, Pat, I've been sitting here waiting for 3 or 4 days now waiting for your thoughts on the Warren Course, but haven't heard a peep.... ;)

I will do all that, and send you a thank you note, in good time.

I've been very busy since my return and just haven't had the chance to address several issues.  Hopefully, I'll get it done this weekend.

I still don't know why they chose to site the clubhouse where it is, in the middle of the property.

Am I reading this correctly - that Mr. Mucci was in South Bend recently?

Well I too am dying to hear his thoughts on the Warren Course.

I also wouldn't mind his thoughts on other events that occurred there recently as well.  I came away with nothing but respect for the home team, and have been amazed by the lack of excuse making from their fans to date.

But sadly, we are to keep things to golf course architecture, I guess.  Talk about boring relative to other events... but I guess that's how it is to be.

 ;)

Content! And that is pretty much in our hands.

If anything, more discussion on the content already here.

I like it the way it is.  If OT is a problem, perhaps a sidebar button where we wouldhave a standing rule that if the thread goes OT for more than a few posts, they can take it to the side bar.  That side bar thread would self destruct in about a day or so.  It would be nice (though I  don't think it is possible) to be able to post pictures directly, instead of having them reside on a different internet site first.  I lost my mystic account and I think photos I had posted in the past are now gone.
No actual golf rounds were ruined or delayed, nor golf rules broken, in the taking of any photographs that may be displayed by the above forum user.

Pete:

I don't actually think photos, taken by an individual of a golf course they were playing, can be copyrighted by the course. There are some courses that won't allow photos (Seminole, for example), but I don't think any course is going to get a lawyer and come after someone who posts them on GCA. In fact, more photos please!

Nobody took more pictures than Ran at Sand Hills.

Mike,

Quite right, but Ran obtains permission from the club to post them on GCA.com; who else goes to that length?

Robert,

Hey I love pictures too, in fact I'm guilty of posting many also. But although lawyers would not likely be involved, the club could indeed contact Ran and ask him to take the photos down. That's why the current policy works well.
