Does anyone know who originally designed Pine Hollow? Gil Hanse did the restoration in 1997, but their website didn't mention the original person.

Jim, It may have been William Mitchell in the 1950s. He did several courses on Long Island including Noyac.

Mark, William Mitchell did design the course in 1950.  Good call.  Haven't seen that much work of him on Long Island.
