With the exception of Ben Crenshaw and Jack Nicklaus, who both have several courses in the Top 100 lists, which other modern pro's deserve to be highlighted in Ran's Courses by Architect listing?

Arnold Palmer and Gary Player have long resumes in golf design.

What are Seve's designs like?

Greg Norman? Bernhard Langer? Nick Faldo?

The World Cup is being held at an Olazabal designed course.

Apparently Montgomerie has 10 projects on the go.

Any others of note?

Who's the best?

I would like to nominate Graham Marsh as a golf pro who should be added to your list of players as designer's.  Graham has run Graham Marsh Golf Design for nearly 20 years.  He is intricately involved in all projects and spends a great deal of time on site with each course.  He has done over 45 courses all over the world with a number of his courses hosting professional tour events.  He has done work in Japan, China, Indonesia, Malaysia, Saipan, Korea, Germany, The Philippines, New Zealand and the United States.  His most recent course in the US is Sutton Bay, a project which I believe will be appreciated by many in the years to come.  You can see a complete list of his courses on his web site www.gmgd.com.au

Most prominent among those you missed is Tom Weiskopf.
Ernie Els and Fred Couples are getting started. Nick Price has done some work as well.

For those of you guys who haven't heard of it, Doonbeg (County Clare, Ireland) is supposed to be magnificent. Greg Norman designed it.

A buddy of mine worked there and couldn't rave enough about it.

Greg Norman's stuff is okay.

Nick Faldo's new course was reviewed by Brad Klein. I don't know how good his courses are, though.

I played a Davis Love course a couple weeks ago. I actually was surprised. The holes had some good strategy, interesting greens, and couple bold concepts (blind skyline tee shot at 18)

I notice Graham Marsh is wearing a Sutton Bay hat today. Don't know if this means anything.

Graham is wearing a Sutton Bay cap and carrying a bag with a Sutton Bay logo on it this year on tour.  He is excited about the quality of Sutton Bay and enjoys having the chance to visit with people about the project.
