I had a momentary flash of integrity here, and realized that #3 is the late Joe Lee.

After finally looking at what the architect actually drew on #7, this is the first I have ever seen it this paticular drawing of a somewhat modified Eden!

8. William Gordon (mistakenly thought to be Maxwell even by the source, corrected by Mr Chris Clouser).

From Chris, "Maxwell was at Saucon Valley in 1944 and did work on two holes on the Old Course.  The drawings in the book are actually from 1951 and were done by Gordon as part of the design work on the Grace Course.  Maxwell was not involved with that project." Thanks Chris.

9-Langford, as noted in a guess this is in Geoff's Golden Age book. I just wanted a mixture of architects.
10-Devil's Asshole in one of its various forms
11-Colt's Moor Park, and Mr. Turner you are my hero, it is the 3rd hole.
12-As many guessed this is Mackenzie's 8th at Moortown
13-Tom MacWood, I truly admire your prowess as a researcher. I thought Hawtree was far enough off the radar to fool everyone. This is the 15th at Lickey Hills by Hawtree, his son called this one of the best examples of his work.

Very impressed with the knowledge, and I appreciate all the honest guesses (as opposed to "right clicking" to genius).

I hope everyone enjoyed this, I thought the different drawings would be fun placed together. Thanks for help from Chris and Tommy. If anyone has an photos or ideas to continue this, send me an IM.

The Oak Hill one is not even on the East course. It is the current sixteenth on the West Course. The cross bunkers have been replaced by mounds, and the long hitter must carry some large trees to reach the green in two.

Hawtree and Taylor went nuts with bunkers on some courses.  Early photos of Ifield (!) and Grims Dyke look somewhat like your pic.

Yes, the nines have been reversed, probably for the better.
The hole is very pivotal in a close match. Several strokes can change hands here.
