Who's coming to Fife this year?
« on: February 17, 2004, 06:31:07 AM »
Hey Guys,
I have one or two names and dates pencilled into my Calendar already, but I was just thinking it would be good to know who else is visiting the 'Auld Sod' this year, and when, so we can arrange days off/tee times, etc...
Possibly some of the Painswick Participants are coming/going via Scotland???
I'm sure Rihc will join me in welcoming one and all to our home clubs or further afield in Bonnie Scotland.

Let me know!
Martin.

Martin, my brother and I will be arriving in St Andrews on Saturday 5/8 late afternoon, staying at the Dunvegan.  I think we are meeting Mike Benham for a drink, he's leaving the next morning.  We have tee time for 2 players 9 am Sunday at Crail Craighead and 2:30 at Crail Balcomie. We will be in the ballot for TOC Monday am, pm and Tuesday am. We have a 3:30 pm tee time at North Berwick and again Wednesday am and then fly to Gatwick and drive to Painswick Wednesday pm.  I am exhausted just typing this, never mind playing it!   Let me know where and when and we'll look forward to seeing you.

Martin -

I will be in St Andrews with three friends (all GCA lurkers) on Monday, August 26 through Thursday, the 29th for four days of golf. We are staying at the Aslar Guest House.

We then move to Edinburgh for two days, playing North Berwick on Friday and Dunbar on Saturday.

We'd love to organize a match for a wee dram or two!

Martin,
After Painswick, I will be heading north to Scotland. 5/16 Dornoch, 5/17 Cruden Bay, 5/18 TOC, 5/19 Prestwick, 5/20 North Berwick. If you are available to golf or get together on any of those dates, I would enjoy getting together. This will be my first trip over and I'm really excited to see the courses and meet the people.
