TOC Greens

I know that there have been alterations to TOC (tee locations, bunker locations, green surrounds), but have the greens themselves been altered? If so, any details would be appreciated or a reference to a reference.

Scott Macpherson's book on the Evolution of The Old Course is the best reference.


The 11th green was altered a few years back to bring back the hole location they used on Friday -- the green speeds had gotten too much for the slope that was always there.  As far as I know that's the only change that's been made in the last 100 years, although, I'm sure that some of the sand buildup around the edges of the bunkers has grown and been removed at various intervals.
