With the conclusion of the US Open, I posit it is the perfect time to speculate which course will be added as a custodian of the game.


Since I started the thread, I guess I have to have an opinion...

I go with a neighbor, MPCC. They had the stones to hire Strantz and Jackson/Kahn.

In Ran's preamble to the "147 Custodians" he specifically lists Cleeve Cloud, Kington, Welshpool, and Cavendish as being at the "top of the list" for 2019.


I don't think Ran has actually ever been to Cavendish. That needs to be remedied soon.
