This is all good by me, Tommy. Oh, you will find few compatriots willing to say they like Al Davis - he's generally reviled here in Oakland even by the most die-hard Raider supporters, just due to all the constant litigation and threats to leave again - but in the end any Raider fan is good by me.
I must confess I am a "newbie" at this, only coming to root for the Raiders in recent years, finally being able to shed all ties to my once-beloved Rams. When they won a Super Bowl and I found myself rooting for the other team, I then decided the time had come to adopt another. They abandoned me and not vice-versa, that's for sure. In any case, living in the Bay Area I then had two choices, and too many years of 49er hatred, combined with actually working here in Oakland for 11 years now, well... it made the choice easy. I've been bleeding silver and black for a few years now, a few good years to boot.
