The TV coverage starts in about 10 minutes on The Golf Channel.   :)

The Bay course at Seaview is one of my favorites in the area for classic architecture.  I played there again recently and made a new photo album:

Joe - thanks much. A wondeful tour, as always, and a truly lovely looking course all around. Who needs more golf than that? We decry the desire for courses 'that are all out in front of us' -- but when I look at Seaview I think 'are you kidding me'?

thanks again
Peter

Joe:

Thanks, as always for adding to the voluminous Bausch collection.

Looks like you can join Seaview as a club for $3,369 per year individual, $4,659 as a family.   Curious how many members they have and if they run the membership like a real club with events and so forth.

Have you played the Pines Course in the past few years?  I know the front nine is a Flynn design.  I have not played either course for about 20 or so years and I remember thinking then that the trees were overgrown.

See ya soon.   ;)

I've only played the Pines course once, about 4 years ago during a tough, hot summer.  Hence, the conditioning was uneven, which would be a very polite way of describing it.  Some day I'll be back, though!

We played Seaview for last years US Hickory Open and thought the course was wonderful.

While short on the card when the wind is up you rarely notice the length. Some of those greens have a lot of movement, especially 6 and 16. The variety on 8-11 was fantastic and those 4 holes are able to test nearly every facet of ones game.

I've updated the Seaview Bay photo album with hole diagrams.  Pretty spiffy.   :)
