The club is making a comeback from hard times.

Why isn't Meehan mentioned by the club as the architect on its website?

I really enjoyed my maiden voyage at J. Franklin Meehan's Brookside CC near Allentown, PA.  Some very cool stuff where a chainsaw, some stumpers, and mowing out greens would be transformative IHMO.

Agreed, lots of good bones out there.

They rerouted their current 18th to get to a terrible pond in front of the new clubhouse.  Original green (which looks neat) still sits at the corner of the dogleg.

Lots of really good stuff out there from a very underrated architect who had a big hand in building both Shawnee for Tilly and Pine Valley for his friend George Crump.   Agree with Joe that a chainsaw and thoughtful tree management program would turn up the lights.
