Ballyneal Aug 9-12

I've decided to add one more Ballyneal trip to my calendar this year in order to welcome Scott Warren who is coming out to the prairie for the first time. Any interest from the tree house for a Ballyneal get together Thurs-Sun Aug 9-12? Hope to keep the group relatively small, but large enough to have some friendly matches and maybe some team competition. Ideally, you'd need to be present for at least two full days of golf within that window.

Please PM me if you're interested.

ps. we're only about 12 hours away from the first Hundred Hole Hike tee balls being launched at Flossmoor CC. Please root on & support the number of GCAers that are walking 100+ holes at Flossmoor and at other sites across the U.S. (and 1 in Scotland).

Jim,

This sounds like a tremendous weekend, please don’t forget your camera.

For the Hundred Hole Hike, I have money on my two Kansas boys next week...

Scott,

A sincere welcome to our little part of the world, you will not be disappointed.  The people, course, hospitality, etc.

Jim,

Really glad you're going to make it out. I'm looking forward to it.

Jason,

Many thanks. One thing I have repeatedly been told is how good the folks are in the middle of the country (I've only previously visited the east coast southwest and west coast). Can't wait to touch down in Wichita and start experiencing it. -- Not overly looking forward to the 21hrs between Sydney and Wichita, though!

Just click your heels together three times and say "There's no place like Wichita", and you will be there Scott.

Scott,

Just looked at the weather for Hutchinson.  Today it is 94 degrees with wind gusts up to 34 mph.  Don't expect such nice weather in August.

I like the sound of those temps, not so much the wind!
