Let me set the stage...
11th hole of a heated match (2nd hole at Musgrove as we played the back nine first due to a frost delay and a slight backup on the 1st). My partner "Magic" Mark Pritchett had just stuck a feathery soft wedge to about 4 ft on the 125yd downhill par 3. With the tension so thick you could cut it with a knife, and his partner in the creek as well, we egged Jason on until he felt obligated to head down into the creek in his fancy white shoes to try to pull one off for the team.
All I can say is that
followed closely by my approach shot into our 17th hole of the day (you are welcome Mike, I only wish we had a picture of that one) this turned out to be the shot of the day as Jason risked life and limb (ok it was probably only a hefty laundry bill that he risked) but he stiffed this explosion shot out of about 1.5" of water to about 5ft to apply the pressure to Marks birdie putt.
By the way what the heck are you flinching for in the background Mike, you weren't the one in there risking the mud for your team?
Very nicely done Jason...
(did I describe that well enough for you JC?)
