Do you find QR #9 a redan? Just wondering?

Steve, it's been quite a while since I played it, so I'd rather have another look before making a final judgement.
I was supposed to play there several times over the last few years, but, every date got cancelled.
From my long term memory, I can't recall being struck by the hole's resemblance to a "true" redan.
But, again, I'll take a closer look this Spring

The name of Anthony's fort is Fort Raindown, as in rocks, arrows, boiling oil, spears, bullets and cannonballs.

As I understand it, the fort lasted one day.

In fact, the sieging soldiers were observed hitting golf balls down upon the last few defenders, early ancestors of TEPaul I might add

This all makes me think that a downhill Redan does not evoke images of a fortress.  This fact means that a downhill Redan may not be a Redan at all.  Sean Arble, you might be right after all...
