Palo Alto Area Golf
« on: November 19, 2009, 03:33:52 PM »
My job will require me to be in Palo Alto/Mountain View 4-5 times per year.  Other than Stanford U, and the notable SF courses, which courses would you recommend I see while in the area?

Thanks in advance, John

I'd definitely make the trip to Pasatiempo.  45 min drive or so.

It's not cheap, but Cinnabar Hills offers pretty good golf of the public variety.

A wise recommendation, Mr Werner, that I heartily second. I'd be happy going there 4-5 times a year.

It sounds like you have private club access, if so, don't miss Sharon Heights. Tough Jack Flemming course with changes in elevation and great greens located in Menlo Park.
I love golf, the fightin irish, and beautiful women depending on the season and availability.

Join the Northern California Golf Association.  If you play Pasa just once a year, you'll save money.
