Panmure is an excellent layout worthy of any visiting golfer’s itinerary. While the first and last few holes occupy a rather flat and featureless plot, the holes away from the clubhouse occupy a stellar “dunescape.” I played the course after a morning round on the fabled links at Carnoustie and was surprised to find that Panmure held its own in such esteemed company.
