The back tee on the 17th hole ("Peconic") at NGLA is not only my favorite spot on my favorite golf course. It is also my favorite place in the world to just stand and gaze around. Words can't describe the peace I feel there.

The walk off the first tee at Inverness as you go down into that swale, a world unto itself.
The golf ball is like a woman, you have to talk it on the off chance it might listen.

Some if not most laugh at connecting to a higher being while playing this game... but... I have never felt that sprituality more than off the back of the 2nd green at Sand Hills, looking outward.  I do not have a picture but those who have been there hopefully know what I am talking about... the view is so vast, one cannot help but feel small.  And then if one stops to realize how lucky he is to be there in the first place, well... they don't call that part of a "Church nine" for no reason.

So yes, that is my favorite spot on my favorite course.

I was going to say the views from Ben's Porch, but the one you mentioned is tough to beat!

Any of the views on RCD looking back to the mountains are pretty special:

Here's to helping you Jamie......and the inclusion of my nomination......the last picture is my favorite. Only played once, but will never, ever forget it:

Bandon Dunes #3 at the tips(564) has a magnificent view from the town of Bandon to parts of Pacific Dunes.

My favorite place on the planet is the 17th tee at Cypress Point Club. To the left is the 16th green with the stunning Clubhouse set among this amazing explosion of Cypress; In front of you is the iconic batch of trees in the middle of the gorgeous 17th fairway and to the right is the Pacific looking down the coast to Point Lobos.

It just doesn't get any better than this rain or shine.
