If that's the Wilsonville that's on the south side of Portland, there is a lot of good public access golf within half an hour.  Ghost Creek at Pumpkin Ridge, Reserve, OGA, the list goes on.  Our mutual friend Garland doesn't live that far away.

David Ober was satisfied that I played as a 21.6 that day, why weren't you? ;)

  Garland,

Do you like the bunkering on the 9 hole Sandelie course?

They have to be at least Doak 2s

Surely you jest - Charbonneau's at most a Doak "1".

Of the privates Pete mentioned, I'd prefer Oswego Lake.  But even better if you can get on is Portland GC or Waverly GC.

I'm not sure of its status, but Oregon GC is up off I-205 near its southern junction with I-5.

Heading south, Salem and Eugene have some really nice golf too!

(I used to spend a lot of work time at the Nike Wilsonville warehouse.  Amazing facility!)

...

I'd suggest you delete that bit of blasphemy before Dave Schmidt finds you are dis'n a Ted Robinson course. Dave says Ted is the best!

Anthony,

I would take the time to drive to Pumpkin Ridge and play Ghost Creek.

Let me know if you are looking for a wingman in this neck of the woods.

In Wilsonville itself, Langdon Farms is a very good public option less than 3 or 4 minutes south on I-5.  Skip any thought of Sandalie or Charbonneau.

Pumpkin Ridge is really your best public option, but it's a good 45 minute drive assuming no traffic.  Plenty of good privates, but much depends on whether quality or proximity is your preference.

Sorry Mike,

Langdon Farms is technically Aurora. ;)
