The Orlando Merchandise Show: Will You Be There?
« on: January 17, 2009, 09:51:38 AM »
Hoping to meet some fine GCA members at the Merchandise Show in a few days.  Will anyone be there?  I will be there all week but will have quite a few meetings scheduled so it may be best to organize a little get together in advance ... assuming you are all going to have meetings to go to as well. Also hoping we will be discussing how the Philadelphia Eagles are in the Super Bowl after they romp over the Cardinals!   ;D ;D ;D

Abe, et al:

Yes, I will be present -- best time to hook up may be during the demo day event held annually at Orange County on 1/28.

I will be at The Show.  If anyone wanders by the Booklegger Booth I will be signing books from 2-3 PM on Thursday the 29th and would love to say hello in person.

I'm the National Sales Manager for Tour Edge/Exotics Golf.

Our Booth Number is 1839 ( Next to Callaway )

Feel free and stop by and introduce yourself as a GCAer.

Best day would probably be Sat. when in the afternoon it really starts thinning out and I would better be able to chat.

Thursday and Friday I'm pretty booked with appointments.

I'll be attending with Shooter - we'll be at the demo day looking for Matt and his 2 deg ping driver.  :)

I've never gone before.

I'll be preaching anti-technology and looking for the persimmon section on the floor...
Thinking of Bob, Rihc, Bill, George, Neil, Dr. Childs, & Tiger.

You might need a Delorean to get to that section of the floor ;)

Mike N:

Shoot me your cel # off line so we can set-up a time frame for getting together at the demo event.

The event at Orange County is truly remarkable given its scale and range of clubs offered -- I've sent a note to the PGA to have some of the exhibitors make note of their hickory clubs and featherie balls in the event you want to sample them. ;D

Abe -

Tell your father I said hello.  I went to this show about 13 years ago, when I was repping The Majors Series for him.  What a fun show... was like a kid in a candy shop!!!

Don, I played Isleworth before the recent remodel and would be interested in a post-remodel review, particularly if you have played before and after.  I frankly wasn't too blown away by the pre-remodel course although the clubhouse and Mrs. Payne Stewart's home (under construction then, all 25,000 SF) were pretty spectacular.

Would love to hear your thoughts......
