I would think in that instance, all is forgiven.
But you know.. they are darn likely to leave again before too long... what happens then?
As for Burlingame CC, it seems to be generally reviled in here. Heck, I liked it well enough... it's nothing to jump up and shout about, but it's not AWFUL as some in here maintained... No clue about the "architectural story" though.
