"I find it absolutely hilarious that you and others on this board spend so much time demonizing Obama....and liberals....I love how you always seem to find a place in a sentence for "socialist" and "Che" or "Fidel"....."  Craig Sweet

As opposed to the time you spend blaming republicans/conservatives for everything that has gone wrong for the last 30 years?   ::)  I hope it helps you sleep at night.

Craig E,

I totally agree.  Interesting use of the 30 year number Craig S.  Let's see, that puts us in 1979, the Jimmy Carter era.  That Reagan guy really screwed up the country after Jimmy did his most excellent work.  He must have been a little misunderstood or something.  :o

And Reagan?  How dare he try to dismantle communism PLUS turn the economy around from 18% inflation and 10% unemployment.  What a mess he made of both!! ;D

Craig E...

Gee...yeah, I think the last 28 years to be more precise, have led to where we are now....that is my opinion..and I think there's a good argument to be made that Republican policy...and to some extent the policies of Clinton...have been bad for this country.

BUT I don't call anyone names, I don't use a bunch of right wing "buzz words" that are designed to drive a wedge between people....

Craig,
You've been around longer than I have and I respect that.

If the last "28 years" were bad, what exactly was better about the period say 1960-1979?-
besides Viet Nam, 18% inflation in the 70's, gas shortages and lines, explosion in drug use.

I'll give you music and premarital sex  ;D

jeff...personal income rose...steady growth in GDP....

Vietnam war funding brought a lot of the problems Carter faced...inflation for example.

Mr. Sifford has much to resent from the White establishment and he has let us know about it at length. He will probably refuse to admit it but there was more than one white that gave him a helping hand during his lifetime.

Charlie Sifford was surly at best and downright hostile at worst.

Craig Sweet, does this rhetoric mean that much to you to keep swinging away like this? Once again, the usual suspects divert a thread......
