Oh my lord....how hard and adventurous must golf have been with primitive equipment, balls, and these type of courses?!?!
Early accounts of local tournaments at Cobbs Creek have golfers averaging around 100 or so in the late teens. It's pretty easy to see why.
It makes us look somewhat wimpy and coddled by comparison.
