A Fan's Photo Tribute - Question for the audience

Thanks to all you that have said nice things about the thread on Pacific Dunes. When I started it, I was concerned I might get complaints about how overdone the topic is here. I am pleased to see what a positive direction it has taken.

I started with PD because it is one of my favorites anywhere. I have nearly as many photos of the other two courses at Bandon Dunes. Not quite as comprehensive, but still multiple photos of each hole.   Is there ample interest here for me to continue the theme with the other two courses once the PD tour has run its course?

Guys:

What is the downside to posting the photos and asking for discussion.  Lahinch is one of my favorite golf courses in the world....I'd enjoy just seeing the pictures...even if noone commented.  Really, how bad would that be?  Put them up.  This is a lot more fun discussing than arguing over Tiger Woods or historical questions.  Keep them coming.

Your thread has been one of the highlights on GCA this year.  I, for one would really like to see the same for the other 2 courses and similarly Patrick's on Lahinch.
The other highlight, so far, has been Sean Arbles reviews of courses in the UK.

Great idea -- I can only guess at how much time you put into these, and from my perspective, they are well worth it. I'm really interested in the other two courses, BD as the first attempt to use a special piece of property for a links-style course, and BT from a routing perspective. All three courses seem fairly distinct, from what I've heard, which by itself is a real tribute to the designers and the property found for the Bandon complex.

Tim, absolutely continue with anything you have. That's what this site is all about. I only wish there was something I could contribute to your PD thread, but alas, I have not yet made the journey to Bandon. BTW, a belated well done on the PD threads. Great stuff!!!! One of the best threads of all time on the site and a welcome respite from the contentiousness that's been going on some other unnamed threads.

I like the decision Tim made to place the entire course discussion in a single thread, but would find it helpful if the first post contained an up-to-date directory with links to the post made for each individual hole (e.g. like I've done for Tim's tribute to PD in a separate thread).
